Fundraiser for Ukraine

Raising Funds for Ukraine

7th and 8th grade students have decorated wooden eggs to raise money to send to Knights of Columbus in Poland for children in Caritas Ukraine refugees.

The eggs are styled after Ukrainian Pysanka eggs. Students worked together to select designs and they gave up recess and independent choice time to work on perfecting the eggs and their designs.

Students set up a table and sold eggs at school dismissal. 3 eggs for $10. One hundred percent of donations go to help orphaned children in Ukraine.

Middle school students study current events as part of their middle school history studies. This spirit of stewardship is integrated across content areas.

We are proud of our 7th and 8th graders!
